Content rules
What can go on a creature or a banner in the tank, and what can’t.
The tank is a short, kind break for whoever’s watching. Wraps are friendly, the abilities are playful, and no creature is ever hurt. These rules keep it that way.
Welcome
Your brand, product, shop, service, app, event, project or non-political charitable cause: anything legal that’s yours to advertise.
Not accepted
- Job ads, including hiring and recruitment.
- Political and issue ads: candidates, parties, ballot measures, or advocacy on political or social issues.
- Demos or placeholders. A wrap has to advertise something real that you run, not a test, a sample or someone else’s demo.
- Video or audio spam, including links whose point is autoplaying media or channel farming.
- Impersonation of a person, brand or organization you don’t represent.
- Crypto pumps: tokens, coins or “opportunities” sold on hype, or promising returns.
- Anything illegal where we or the viewer are.
- Hate, harassment, or content that targets people for who they are.
- Adult content, gambling, weapons, drugs, tobacco or vaping.
- Scams, misleading claims, or health or money promises you can’t back up.
- Other people’s trademarks or names you have no right to use.
The wrap and the link
- The name on the fish or the banner is up to 18 letters or numbers, in one of the tank’s layouts (the banner has its own) and your three colors.
- You can add your logo. It has to be yours to use and follow these rules too. We check every logo before it goes up; until then your name is lettered, and we can turn a logo down.
- The big spots (the ship’s sail, the castle tapestry and the skull’s flag) take your own finished design. Everything in it, words and pictures, follows these rules. We check every design before it goes up and can turn one down.
- Your website link has to go to your own site, or a page you control about what you’re advertising: no redirects to somewhere else, no downloads.
- A brand name you add to the card has to match what you’re advertising.
- Your rental is listed in the tank’s directory (tank.ad/directory) while it runs, with its dates, and for up to 90 days after it ends, until newer listings push it off. A rental that’s taken down or refunded isn’t listed.
If a wrap breaks the rules
We take it down, at any time and without notice, and there’s no refund. If someone reports a wrap, we look at it and decide; our decision is final. If you think we got it wrong, email loopship33@gmail.com.
